Brenda Anderson was born and raised in Laredo, TX. She attended Yale University (New Haven, CT) where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2002. She attended the University of San Diego School of Law (San Diego, CA) where she received her Juris Doctorate in 2006.
Brenda Anderson is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas (2007) and in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Texas (2012). She is a member of the State Bar College of Texas.
Prior to launching her private law practice in 2012, Brenda Anderson was an Assistant District Attorney with the Webb County District Attorney’s Office for five years. While at the District Attorney’s office, Brenda Anderson handled a wide variety of criminal cases, ranging from misdemeanors to serious felonies such as murder. In 2010, she was promoted to Chief Prosecutor of the 341st District Court where her caseload included among other charges, felony thefts, burglaries, aggravated assaults, and murders.
